The word "quarantine" is derived from the Italian word "quarantina" meaning "40 days".  Over the next 40 days, Uplift NYC needs your help to raise at least $40,000 to support and expand our COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund for our neighbors in need.

Established in 2014, Uplift NYC is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt not-for-profit organization providing low-income youth and their families with access to key resources such as educational, health, cultural, and legal aid services.

Given the impact of COVID-19 on our working class, people of color, and immigrant communities, we launched our COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund to help alleviate the emergency food and care needs of our neighbors in Washington Heights/Inwood, Harlem and the Bronx.

Over the past two weeks, we have purchased food and cleaning supplies, packaged 97 culturally-connected care packages serving over 450 people, and delivered each package door-to-door while taking the proper precautions at each step.

Be part of the solution – join us in weathering this storm, together, with dignity and love by donating $50, $100, $200 or anything you can.

We will update this page throughout our campaign. Again, we extend our sincere gratitude and thanks for your continuous support!
