Hi! I’m Elle with The Booth Fairy Project.

 

It's my job as the unofficial mascot of Asheville to make sure our city remains happy and full of joy. After a few tough years, isn't it time for a little boost? A year ago, we successfully crowdfunded a billboard over 2-40 that reminded drivers to TAKE A DEEP BREATH.

The response was incredible! Whether they were on their daily commute or driving in to enjoy our beautiful city for the first time, people got a major boost from a billboard that spoke directly to them without trying to sell them anything.

 

NOTE: 100% OF ALL FUNDS RAISED WILL GO TOWARD THE BILLBOARDS!

 

There is strong science behind this. Our billboard will produce real positivity, drive a marked increase in kindness and connection and decrease road rage. It will remind people why it's great to be alive in Asheville.

 

The 2 prominent billboards for our city will include phrases such as:

YOU’RE DOING GREAT!

THiS IS A POSITIVE SIGN 

YOU’RE ON THE RIGHT PATH 

and

TAKE A DEEP BREATH

 

So, let's do it! Let's come together and take our advertising back. I heard from so many people that the “take a deep breath” billboard was a highlight of their drive and a good reminder to check in with themselves. I think it helped us all heal a little.
