Hello community!

I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of my comadre Robin and her family! As most of you who know Robin, she has been the most caring, giving, thoughtful, helpful, devotional pillar in our community. She is that friend that is always there for you, a true sister, a loving, kind, and patient mother, and a devoted, loving partner. She has been a teacher to our children at Morning Meadow and, as of recently, a front office employee with her partner JP at our beloved school, Constellation.

Well, actually, their job title, like most of the devoted staff there at Constellation, would go beyond the title. From mending booboos, calming the children with mindful practices, listening intently with her years of NVC skills, supporting with classwork, and overall being there for all the students, staff, and parents in different capacities with whole heart, hands, and mind. Robin and JP have gone above and beyond for our community. Also, if you don’t know JP and all the unseen work he does, he is the one behind all our beautiful ceremonies, spending many hours of his time chopping wood and getting that fire ready for our sacred walk of life. He takes care of our drum in our community and the fire—the heartbeat and light of our path. We thank you both!

We are so super overjoyed that these two beautiful souls have called in a baby that will soon be here to bless us this June! Akasha has been praying for this sibling for many years and will be the most devoted and wonderful big sister. We celebrate this joy and also want to uplift you!

So today I am here to ask to support in uplifting this family as our school was unjustly closed very suddenly, leaving all our staff without an income. This was their only source of income and as a 9-month pregnant mother with now a 10-year-old daughter to homeschool, and also simultaneously they were in the process of finding a new home as the one they live in and love in is having unfortunate disharmony with a roommate, this is all a tragic and unstabilizing event in the closing of the school. They need support in finding the perfect and safe birthing home, funds to pay their first and deposit, funds to pay rent until they find work again, and funds for nourishment and herbs to aid in her postpartum.
