My name is Bryan Barker, and I own Glenwood Village Exxon & Tire Pros. Jazmen and I worked together for 4 short years. She was the single mother of 3 young girls and moved to Raleigh for a new start. She moved here without personal transportation and shared an apartment with her best friend and “sister” Katavia. She overcame these obstacles with a wonderful smile, beautiful heart, and a willingness to work hard for her 3 girls to succeed. In a short amount of time, she had her own car and her own apartment. Her girls adored her. Jazmen’s constant smile was infectious at the station, whether it was having a drink ready for a routine customer every day, a calm demeanor to help a customer in a dire situation, or opening her own wallet to help someone else in need of $10 worth of gas. She was wonderful to our Glenwood Village community. She made our lives better for having known her.
Her life was cut short this past weekend.
Now it’s time to open up your hearts and wallets to make a difference for her girls to have every opportunity the world can offer them.
