STROUD - Uplands / Slad Road area Fundraiser:
Food help for the vulnerable during Coronavirus.
This fundraiser will provide a backup fund for our corner of Stroud to provide help for the vulnerable in the area so that they have food help as soon as they need it and so that no one individual helping ends up hugely out of pocket in helping those in their neighbourhood. Un-needed/excess funds will be sent to the brilliant team at The Long Table, who are providing nutritious meals in the Stroud District, and /or the food bank (currently closed).
We don't know what the future weeks will look like during this crisis but having a contingency fund we can access means we are prepared – and would provide reassurance to those needing and providing help in our community.
