Uphold Greenbriar SPI-20

Donation protected
Greenbriar Special Public Interest (Greenbriar SPI-20) is a law that prohibits gas stations from being built on Greenbriar Pkwy in southwest Atlanta. This law was adopted into law on July 14, 2022. The city of Atlanta is allowing a gas station to be built on Greenbriar Pkwy even though the developer did not apply for a gas station permit until August 23, 2022, after the new zoning law changed.

This is a gross error on the city's part, and they are refusing to acknowledge and correct this mistake because it will open the city up to a lawsuit.

However, the residents of southwest Atlanta, who will be most impacted by this gas station, are banding together to hold the city accountable for its mistake.

We are seeking legal counsel to represent the residents of Southwest Atlanta in our efforts to stop the city from allowing this gas station to be built. In doing so, not only will we preserve the beauty of southwest Atlanta, but we will tell the city of Atlanta that the health, safety, and well-being of citizens outweighs the financial interests of millionaires and corporations.

We are asking anyone who reads this to donate whatever they can to help us hire a lawyer so that we may stay in this fight and help uphold the laws that protect our communities.

Thank you for your time, much love to the SWATS!
