In 2018, as a group we raised money to purchase a Live Cam - still running on the top of my roof! An upgrade to our Live Cam would be a wonderful way to improve our ability to to view our Eagles.. Since we purchased Our Current Live Cam) this live cam has aged. as (like most all technology) technology has improved. Our current Live Cam is a 50x optical Zoom PTZ Cam. The new Live Cam is a 60x Live Cam and has laser night vision which should improve our ability to see our eagles next season. I own a technology company, I am licensed in NYS to install and maintain security cameras, I can get this Live Cam at a discount. What I would like to do is purchase a new Computer that controls the live Cam the necessary mounting eqipment to get this group ready for the 2024 nesting season. It will take me a month just to build the computer and install the camera, test it - and put it up live. The live cam retails for $20,000 and a new computer is about $4000. With my NYS License I can get a discount on the live cam and computer - which should cost a total of about $17,000 - all in. Yes this is a lot of money. Yes this is a LOT of WORK. All labor and misc connectors I will supply (at no cost) and if for some reason it goes over 17K (This should cover NY State Sales Tax as well) - I will pay the difference. I pay the electicity and the internet necessary for this cam. This should cover the shipping charges - the weight of this live cam is 75 lbs shipping from Asia. This Live Cam has a lot of really awesome features which I will not bore you with. It's at least a month from the time I pay for the unit to get to the USA. These cameras are not available at any kind of retail store - this is a special order, once I pay for it - it's oursm no returns - Please note this unit has a 5 year warranty! (The current cam has a 2 year warranty which as expired) I promise to do the best that I can do - when it comes to the technology I have implemented - I am a 1 man show. I am willing to answer any questions - The people who have went ahead and sent money to me already - WOW and THANK YOU... This group is the best there is. Grass Roots everything - the way it should be. Please note this cam DOES NO HARM to our eagles - being over 700 feet away the eagles have no idea we are peeking into their lives.
