Save Max: Urgent Surgery Needed

Hello, my name is Brandon Sergent from Culloden, WV. I decided to create this GoFundMe page hoping to help our dog Max. He is a 3-year-old golden retriever and the most lovable animal there is. He's not just an animal to us, but a most cared-for member of our family of 6.

A vehicle driving down Rt 60 struck Max and continued to drive away without any care. Thankfully, my wife and next-door neighbor heard his cry and ran to pull him to safety. He was severely injured but remained conscious. We rushed him to the emergency animal hospital where they diagnosed him with multiple scapula fractures (broken pelvic bone) and said he would require immediate surgery within 48 hours. The doctor proceeded to explain that the surgery would cost between $7,000-$10,000, not including both emergency room bills. We have covered a good portion, giving every dollar our family had to help. I have never been a person that asks for help, but I will do anything at this point to save a member of our family.
