UO: Adopt a Family with Action Wellness
Donation protected
UO Brand Marketing on behalf of UOCC has partnered with Action Wellness for 5 holiday seasons to be a part of their "Adopt a Family" program.
We have been assigned a local Philadelphia family to help fulfill their ultimate holiday wishlist. Because of this year's restrictions to gather together and receive in person donations from the list, we are asking to pitch in money for a larger donation bucket to allow our team to safely gather all wishlist items.
See below for the note from the case manager about the family:
The family I am referring has experienced some employment and financial challenges due to the COVID pandemic. The guardian was laid off during the pandemic and is backed up on rental payments. The guardian was recently able to start work again. The monthly income for the family is around $1,200 a month. The guardian has seven children and is the sole caretaker as well as one grandchild that lives in the home. The adopting this family would be a huge help to this family during this holiday season.
THANK YOU and HAPPY HOLIDAYS
