Untimely Death of My Loving Father

It’s hard to put into words the amount of pain and suffering we have experienced these past few days. On August 17th, 2024, my father passed away from an undetected genetic condition, cardiac hypertrophy, causing cardiac arrhythmia. He woke that morning, loved and surrounded by family, even as he suddenly fell ill and the ambulance took him away. He was so positive. Doctors and nurses tried their best, but after continuing CPR for some time, he was gone. My twin brother, younger brother, uncle, and grandparents rushed to the hospital, but by the time we arrived, it was too late. I knew the second the social worker walked us into that dreary bereavement room.

Jamie Felitte, 44, was a loving husband, a father to 3 wonderful children, a big brother, a friend, and a first son. He spent his time with his family enjoying the coasts of Cape Cod, the forests of New York, and the states abroad. Camping, snowboarding, skateboarding, kayaking, biking, hiking, disc golf and more, he lived a fuller life at 44 than most do at 90. He loved nothing more than his family, friends, and the band, Phish. A grieving mother and three children are left to honor his life and spread our cherished memories. We weren’t ready for this horribly unexpected tragedy.

I create this GoFundMe to help pay for cremation/services, and support grocery, electricity, water, etc. My dad had just gotten a management position before this nightmare struck our family.
