Hallo zusammen!

Ich bin aktuell für mehrere Wochen in Jinja, Uganda, und unterstütze hier die Igulu Foundation – eine wundervolle kleine Organisation, die 15 Waisenkindern ein liebevolles Zuhause schenkt.

Die Kinder – 10 Jungen und 5 Mädchen – haben ihre Eltern durch unterschiedliche Umstände verloren. Damit sie trotzdem in Sicherheit aufwachsen und zur Schule gehen können, haben Igulu und Shaki im Jahr 2018 die Igulu Foundation gegründet.

Das Zuhause ist voller Liebe – aber die Mittel sind knapp.

Jeden Monat entstehen Kosten für:

• Schulgebühren: 360 €

• Essen: 710 €

• Strom & Wasser: 75 €

• Internet: 62 €

• Miete: 150 €

• Medizinische Versorgung: 90 €

Mit eurer Hilfe möchte ich ca. 1.500 € sammeln, um diese Grundbedürfnisse für die kommenden Monat zu sichern.

Was noch gebraucht wird:

Momentan schlafen alle 15 Kinder in einem einzigen Raum. Besonders die älteren Mädchen brauchen dringend Privatsphäre und ein eigenes Zimmer. Langfristig möchte die Organisation ein neues Haus bauen, in dem jedes Kind genug Platz und Würde bekommt.

Alles Geld, das über die monatlichen Kosten hinausgeht, fließt in:

• neue Matratzen ️

• Schulmaterial & Kleidung

• langfristig: den Bau eines neuen Hauses

Außerdem unterstützt die Igulu Foundation auch alleinerziehende Mütter in der Region – mit Kleidung, Lebensmitteln und Hoffnung.

Hi everyone!

I’m currently volunteering in Jinja, Uganda, supporting a small but beautiful organization called the Igulu Foundation – a home to 15 children who have lost their parents due to different circumstances.

Founded in 2018 by Igulu and Shaki, the foundation gives these 10 boys and 5 girls not only a roof over their heads but also love, care, and hope for a better future.

The home is full of warmth – but resources are scarce.

Each month, these essential costs need to be covered:

• School fees: €360

• Food: €710

• Electricity & water: €75

• Internet: €62

• Rent: €150

• Medical care: €90

I’m hoping to raise at least €1,500 to support these basic needs over the coming months.

Why your help matters even more:

Right now, all 15 children sleep in one single room. The older girls especially need a space of their own. In the long run, the foundation dreams of building a new house where the children can live with dignity and space.

Any extra money raised will go toward:

• new mattresses ️

• school supplies & clothing

• and eventually: building a new, safe home

The foundation also supports single mothers in the community, offering food, clothes, and emotional support.
