Erstmal zu uns:

Wir sind eine kleine Familie. Mein Bruder ist 10 Jahre alt, meine Mutter (in ihren 50ern) ist in der Altenpflege tätig.

Ich (26) bin vor kurzem meinen Traum als Hundesitterin nachgegangen. Noch verdiene ich damit nichts, deshalb bekomme ich noch Geld vom Jobcenter. Aufgrund psychischen Problemchen kann ich momentan nichts anderes arbeiten, da ich unter anderem immer wieder starke Panikattacken bekomme.

Unsere Geschichte:

Vor ca. einem Jahr haben wir schon mal unsere Wohnung verloren, weil das Jobcenter auf einmal 3 Monate keine Miete gezahlt hatte ohne es uns mitzuteilen. Wir suchten über 2 Jahre lang eine Wohnung und wir haben wirklich alle angeschrieben. Ca. 400 Wohnungen haben wir angeschrieben und trotzdem hatten wir nur 5-6 Besichtigungen. Es ging dann alles vor Gericht, weil wir bis zum Kündigungsdatum noch nichts bekommen haben, also hatten wir nochmal ca. 6 Monate Zeit, die aber leider auch nicht gereicht hatte. Nach den 6 Monaten haben wir dann von der Stadt eine Notunterkunft bekommen, da hieß es erst man müsse keine Miete zahlen nur den Verbrauch.

Ein paar Wochen später kam dann die Rechnung über 1500€ für diese Notunterkunft. Allein der Umzug dort hin hat uns schon sehr viel gekostet und die Gerichtskosten gab es auch noch.

Durch sehr viele glückliche Zufälle haben wir ca. 2 Monate später doch eine Wohnung gefunden. Also nochmal umziehen, nochmal viele kosten.

Jetzt wohnen wir seit einem Jahr hier und das Haus wurde verkauft und der neue Eigentümer möchte die 2 Wohnungen für sich.

Wir haben immer noch viele offene Rechnungen, uns wurde der Strom vor ein paar Monaten schonmal abgestellt und momentan stehen wir wieder kurz davor keinen Strom zu haben.

Wir müssen bis Ende Februar raus, außer wir gehen wieder vor Gericht und es entstehen noch mehr kosten.

Wir sind natürlich wieder am Wohnungen suchen, aber ich denke du weißt wie schwer es ist etwas zu finden... Und hier unten im Süden sind Wohnungen und Häuser ziemlich teuer. Die meisten Mietkosten können wir uns absolut nicht leisten. Wenn dann mal eine bezahlbare Wohnung dabei ist, hat diese hunderte Bewerber...

Und dann gibt es noch meinen Job. Wir brauchen ein zu Hause, welches Haustiere erlaubt und im besten Fall auch einen Garten hat. Das ist zur Miete unmöglich. Ich habe online eine Wohnung und ein Haus gefunden, die passend gewesen wären, aber die haben beide nicht geantwortet.

Wir denken unsere letzte Chance nicht komplett unter zu gehen und alles zu verlieren ist, irgendwie ein Haus oder Wohnung kaufen zu können. Ich weiß es ist viel verlangt, aber nur so kann ich meinen (Traum)Job weiter machen, wahrscheinlich auch noch größer und erfolgreicher machen um mehr Menschen und Tieren zu helfen und wir werden nicht obdachlos.

First of all, about us:

We are a small family. My brother is 10 years old, my mother (in her 50s) works in elderly care.

I (26) recently pursued my dream of becoming a dog sitter. I don't earn anything from it yet, so I still get money from the job center. Due to psychological problems, I can't do anything else at the moment, as I keep getting severe panic attacks, among other things.

Our story:

About a year ago we lost our apartment because the job center suddenly stopped paying rent for 3 months without telling us. We looked for an apartment for over 2 years and we wrote to absolutely everyone. We wrote to around 400 apartments and still only had 5-6 viewings. Everything then went to court because we hadn't received anything by the termination date, so we had about another 6 months, but unfortunately that wasn't enough. After the 6 months we were given emergency accommodation by the city, but they said we didn't have to pay rent, just the consumption.

A few weeks later we got a bill for €1500 for this emergency accommodation. Just moving there cost us a lot and there were also the court costs.

Through a lot of lucky coincidences we found an apartment about 2 months later. So we had to move again, and that meant a lot more costs.

We've been living here for a year now and the house has been sold and the new owner wants the 2 apartments for himself.

We still have a lot of outstanding bills, our electricity was cut off a few months ago and we're currently on the verge of having no electricity again.

We have to move out by the end of February, unless we go to court again and there are even more costs. We are of course looking again for a home, but I think you know how difficult it is to find something... And down here in the south of Germany, apartments and houses are pretty expensive. We absolutely cannot afford most of the rent costs. And when we do find an affordable apartment, it has hundreds of applicants...

And then there is my job. We need a home that allows pets and, ideally, has a garden. That is impossible to rent. I found an apartment and a house online that would have been suitable, but neither of them responded.

We think our last chance to avoid going under and losing everything is to somehow buy a house or apartment. I know it's a lot to ask, but that's the only way I can continue doing my (dream) job, probably make it bigger and more successful so that I can help more people and animals, and we won't become homeless.
