Hello,

I'm Eddie and the band is Flat Badger. We did this very successfully last year and all proceeds went to Myton Hospice.

We are running this event again because it was so successful last year and because so many of you have asked us to.

The Format will be more or less the same. 20 bands and 30 acoustic acts on two stages. All of the artistes involved are doing this voluntarily. The aim is to put on a free concert with multiple performers over two days so that it is free for people and families to attend. It is community centered and will feature Coventry musicians and their talents.

As the event name suggests, there is no judging or pre selecting of the acts, though first refusal has been given to everyone who so enthusiastically performed last year. Not all of them are able to commit to it this year and the slots will be filled on a first come first served basis.

A lot of people have volunteered their time and assistance in putting this together (and thank you to all of you) but obviously not everything is free in the realm of officialdom and equipment so we need to fund raise.

I know we are dipping into the same well again. This mainly because other possible offers of funding have not materialised and we have no other funding options.

We all have a fair idea what admission to something like this would cost but all we need is please donate any amount you can afford. Proceeds will again go to Myton Hospice.
