UOW Liverpool funding to build 3 wells
University Of Wollongong, South Western Sydney, Muslim Student Association of South Western Sydney or short for (MSA SWS) and Society x will be collaborating in running a donation to build a well. We have successfully collected the funds for the well in Cambodia. We're now collecting funds for a second well for Nepal. Our aim by end of 2019 MSA SWS is to have around 2-3 well funded around Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. Contributing to the project, which will be providing clean and fresh drinking water to the current community and it's generation, but also for the future generation, who will be the tomorrow leaders.[1] We sometimes forget the blessing which we take granted for.[2]
It's estimated that 1 in 6 people living today, do not have adequate access to water, and over 1 in 3 lack basic sanitation. Serious health issues harm millions as a result of insufficient water availability, with nearly 80% of illnesses in developing countries linked to poor water and sanitation.
UOWMSA and Society x want to leave a legacy to help remind people that we can make a difference when we all are contributing towards a single goal as even the smallest decision could make a big difference even a life-changing impact. Help us change someone’s life by donating today and remember even a dollar can make a huge difference!
We honestly are so grateful and honored that you've taken the time. May we all continue together benefiting the people and helping the community locally and globally.[3]

[1]The Prophet Sallallaahu alaihe wa sallam said: “Whoever digs a well will receive a reward from Allah on the Day of Judgement when anyone from amongst the men and birds drinks from it.”
- The Prophet Muhammad (SAW), as narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim.
[2]Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "While a man was walking on his way he became extremely thirsty. He found a well, he went down into it to drink water. Upon leaving it, he saw a dog which was panting out of thirst. His tongue was lolling out and he was eating moist earth from extreme thirst. The man thought to himself: `This dog is extremely thirsty as I was.' So he descended into the well, filled up his leather sock with water, and holding it in his teeth, climbed up and quenched the thirst of the dog. Allah appreciated his action and forgave his sins". The Companions asked: "Shall we be rewarded for showing kindness to the animals also?'' He (PBUH) said, "A reward is given in connection with every living creature".
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
[3] Allah has promised those who believe and do deeds of righteousness, that for them there is forgiveness and a great reward (i.e. Paradise).
[Qu'ran Surah Al-Maidah:5, Verse 9]
