The New Providence Unity Group (NPUP), in collaboration with several local organizations, is organizing a vibrant Unity Day event for the New Providence, NJ school district. This event aims to celebrate cultural diversity and foster community spirit by bringing together students, families, and community members from various backgrounds under the key theme, "We are the well-wishers of Humanity."

Unity Day will feature representations from countries such as China, Japan, India, Nepal, and Ukraine, offering a unique opportunity for attendees to experience a rich tapestry of cultures. Activities planned for the day include chess, origami, and a variety of ethnic foods, providing both educational and entertaining experiences for all ages. Younger children will have the chance to participate in a passport activity, earning fun prizes as they explore different cultural stations.

The event is supported by the United Methodist Church, the New Providence Diversity Committee, the Berkeley Heights Diversity Council, Key2Success, and LINC Pantry, among others. Funds raised will be used to cover the costs of organizing these activities and ensuring a successful and inclusive event.
