My name is Matthew Yeoh and I’ve long supported the work on the United Nations World Food Programme (UNWFP), which provides nutrition to those facing extreme hunger all around the world.

On 30 November 2024, I completed the Singapore Standard Charted Marathon 10km with crutches in 2 hours and 47 minutes, in a bid to raise money for the UNWFP's work in Gaza. I know many individuals who were hesitant to donate as they were unsure if their donations would go through given the restrictions on humanitarian aid into Gaza, and possibly due to the misinformation by the state of Israel that U.N groundworkers were "completely infiltrated by Hamas", which has been disproved by the ICJ.

With the recent ceasefire, some aid is slowly being allowed in, and the U.N has called for life-saving assistance to quickly be deployed to save as many lives as possible. Please consider donating now as this ceasefire is fragile Donations are much appreciated, but please do not feel obliged! (just sharing this too can also be of great help).
