Hey. So Ottawa is basically Gotham right now, and Batman has emerged in the form of a troll or two. Nobody quite knows why, but the people who rolled up on Ottawa decided to communicate through a walkie-talkie app. Several of the good-but-frustrated residents of Ottawa have leaned into trolling as an outlet. Some yell, some play some absolute bangers, but 2 specific people are out here doing the Lord's work for real. People on both sides of the political arguments can agree: These guys are awesome.

The fact of the matter is, Ottawa won't feel safe for awhile yet. As of the time of this writing, things are still heated, and I don't want too much attention drawn to any specific individual or individuals. What I can say is, we want to pay them. They're rendering a genuine service to us at a time that feels crushing to so many residents of Ottawa. I'm confident that I know with absolute certainty who one of them is. A few people do. The other is a complete mystery.

Here's what I propose: I'm setting this up for the person whose identity we know for sure. We'll aim for $1000. He gets every last dime unless he doesn't want it, in which case we give it to the women's shelter downtown.

The ones who get it, get it. The ones who don't... didn't make it this far. I'll provide more details as things change, which they will, because they always do. Stay safe and stay hopeful. Thank you.
