Hello. This fundraiser aims to support a dear Brother in Christ from the Hamilton Church of Christ, Manny Macabio, who lost his wife Donna to cancer last year and is bringing his three children, age 13 to 9, to Ontario from the Philippines in May of 2019, to live with him.
I asked him for some information to share:
My name is Emmanuel Macabio. I was born and raised from Umingan Pangasinan Philippines. I'm 44 years old. I became part of the church July 19,1995.
My wife's name is Donna Neverida Macabio. She was born and raised in Baguio City, Philippines. She passed away July 10, 2018 of breast cancer. She became a disciple October 27, 1996
I have three(3) kids, between the ages of 13 and 9, who I am bringing to Ontario in May to live with me.
The cost for the flight alone to go and bring back the children is $4,300 CDN, plus all other travelling expenses. Then there is the need to furnish a home for the family, and so much more.
Please share some of what God has given you via this fundraiser to help Manny get settled well in this new part of his live, and for his children to have a great start into a new life in Canada. Though they surely grief the loss of their Mother and their friends, they are excited to come to Canada to be with their Dad.
