Unicycling across Sweden for improved water access
Donation protected
Hi! My name is Marcus. I’m 21 years old and I’m studying sustainable energy engineering at Luleå University of Technology. I like to challenge myself with adventures and last year I decided to take on a fairly odd challenge to ride my unicycle through Sweden on a >2000 km trip. Besides the challenge, this project is also a way to raise awareness and funds for Engineers Without Borders Sweden, which values and important work I support.
Access to clean water and sanitation is essential for good health and is the first line of defense in the challenging times we live in. All the funds raised during my trip will go towards the ongoing Water & Sanitation (WASH) projects EWB-SWE implements in Tanzania and Nepal. Thank you for your support!
My trip will start on June 21st off in Smygehuk, continue north through Dalarna and the goal is to reach Treriksröset by early august.

They work on a range of different international projects, primarily based in sub-saharan Africa and South Asia, where most of the projects concern the areas of sustainable energy and water & sanitation. More recently they have also strengthened their capacity and increased their presence in the areas of entrepreneurship, digitalisation and construction.

They also recently released their 2020 Annual Report , Empowering Communities in Challenging Times, reflecting their achievements over the past year and their continued commitment to deliver humanitarian engineering.
