Help a new mom

I currently have a 17yo student who came to this country about a year ago. She doesn't speak any English and lives in a garage with her older brother. She last did academics when she was 12yo.

When I met her she was 7 months pregnant and hasn't ever worked on a computer. Even though we are both remote, we met in person so that I could show her how to turn on a computer and log into Google Meets and platform where her classes are posted. I walked away thinking this was such a sad situation, how will she ever continue with school. I thought I'd never see her again.

Since then she has completed two ESL classes, come to every single online meeting, had her baby, texts me any time she needs something and hasn't missed a beat. She is now taking a math class (which was nearly impossible for her to even consider a few months ago since her math is really really basic) and will work through the summer.

Things are so incredibly hard, those of us not in her situation would probably have a hard time imagining one of her hardships, let alone all of them at once.

My mind has been blown by her hard work, determination and the care she has given her son while managing it all. Please consider donating to a person who truly needs it and will absolutely appreciate it. I will be speaking to her case manager who will assist me in making financial decisions to make sure she and her child benefit most from the money raised.
