Unexpected funeral costs for Oscar.

My name is Christina, and I am Oscar's daughter. I am setting up this GoFundMe campaign to help with funeral costs.

As many of you know, my dad recently passed away in Mexico, where he had been living for the past six years. His passing was due to an infection that arose after his Esophagectomy surgery. Our initial wish was to bring his body back to Gardena for burial. However, the infection prevented the transportation of his remains, and we had to make the difficult decision to have him cremated in Mexico so that we could bring him home.

My dad had thoughtfully made arrangements and prepaid for his funeral services here. Unfortunately, because of the circumstances requiring cremation in Mexico, the original funeral home was not able to provide their services. They did not handle the transport of his body or perform the cremation, which means the prepaid expenses will not be covered. As a result, we are now faced with unexpected costs to hold a memorial service for him.
