Unexpected bedrest for high-risk pregnancy
Donation protected
We are currently expecting our little Hattie Parker due January 25th, 2020. She is our third and last baby and we cannot wait for her to join her sister Brooklyn and brother Phillip. Coming into this pregnancy we knew it was high risk and we prepared ourselves to try and make it as easy and as safe as possible. However, last weekend Veronica had unexpectedly started bleeding which resulted in admission to Labor and Delivery. Subsequent ultrasounds also showed that our “Tita” was not growing as she should be. We are hopeful this is due to lack of nutrients as Veronica has had severe morning sickness throughout the pregnancy and has been unable to eat. She has been placed on modified bedrest for an unknown amount of time so that she can focus on giving our girl the best chance possible.
We have been preparing for maternity leave, but it came much earlier than expected. Makana is continuing to work hard to support his family, but overnight we have been forced into a one person income. We have a lot of support from our families, which has been a blessing and is so appreciated, because we all know that a toddler doesn’t stop being a toddler just because his mom is on bedrest :) As everyone knows the bills don’t stop coming just because there is an emergency. We are asking for contributions of any amount to help us through this time. Even $1.00 will help alleviate any additional stress so that our family can focus on making sure we bring a healthy little girl into this world.
