Donate to help underprivileged Roma Communities in Romania

Hi, my name is Karen and at the end of July I will be travelling with an amazing group of young people aged 15 - 17 to Romania. In Romania we will be working with a charity called Dare to Dream to deliver a summer play scheme for children from the Roma Gypsy community.

The people of this community are some of the poorest people in Romania and do not have equal access to services and resources.

I am raising money to help purchase resources that can be used as part of the summer play scheme that the young people will be delivering, as well as items that will help to benefit the community as a whole such as toiletries, sanitary products, nappies and basic clothing items including baby grows, children's underwear and warm items for winter.

In 2022 I was lucky enough to undertake this trip for the first time and meet the wonderful people of the Roma community and saw first hand the vital work carried out by the charity and how needed these items are.
