Friends, family, and community — we need your help

Many of you know that Under His Wings is a Christian organization dedicated to caring for women and children in our community. Unfortunately, we recently experienced a major setback.

A pipe backed up and caused severe flooding throughout the downstairs of the house. The water damage ruined the flooring, furniture, shelving, and other essential items that we rely on daily to serve those who come through our doors. To make matters worse, insurance has informed us that these damages will NOT be covered.

After getting estimates and reviewing what it will take to fully recover, we’ve set a GoFundMe goal of $10,000. These funds will be used for:

• Replacing damaged flooring

• Purchasing new shelves and storage

• Replacing essential furniture

• Paying the water restoration and damage cleanup crews

• Getting the space back to a safe, usable condition so we can continue serving others in our community and surrounding areas

This organization means so much to our family, the community, and to the many women and children who have/continue to depend on it. Any donation — no matter how small — would make a huge difference. If you’re unable to give, sharing this post is just as appreciated.
