Hello everyone, we are Social Services for the Arab Community (SSFAC), an organization that believes in serving immigrants, refugees, & marginalized families as a Christian-based nonprofit—not because we expect anything in return, but because Jesus Christ calls us to serve with unconditional love.

We don’t simply give our clients fish—we teach them how to fish: through referrals to English classes, higher education, and employment/training opportunities. We empower immigrants & underrepresented communities to become self-sufficient, contributing members of society.

However, our ability to serve is at risk. SSFAC is in desperate need of donations due to lack of funding. Without your support, we may have to close our doors. If that happens, it’s not just the immigrant community that suffers—it’s Toledo as a whole.

If you want to see more people becoming proud American citizens and functioning members of society, SSFAC helps turn this into a reality. Since our inception, SSFAC has served over 3,000 clients across the Greater Toledo Area, & since we became accredited by the Department of Justice in 2021, 92 immigrants and refugees became American citizens.

Just this past year, we’ve served an additional 154 new families, and also:

-Helped 176 clients find employment, educational opportunities, & training

-Secured sustainable jobs for 76 individuals

-Served clients from over 45 different nationalities

SSFAC’s in collaboration with Food For Thought served over 800 families, with more than 2500 household members with food items, clothing & household items.
