Uncle Todd needs help! Pay life forward and help.

Darcy here, I hope this page finds my family and friends in good health. I am writing this on behalf of my “Uncle” Todd Clark. Most of my immediate family and friends know Todd. He always made it to our reunion at Conesus Lake. He went to Nursing school with my mother (Grace) and Auntie Pam. Todd has been a top-notch ICU (Intensive Care Unit), Registered Nurse for pass 42 years, all over the Country. Healing, helping, and giving to others.

He is need of some human kindness, and little help from his friends/family.

Todd is a very prideful and I know he would not post this for himself. I finally talked him into letting me start a Go-Fund Me to try to raise money to assist him until some things fall into place.

Todd and his immediate family have come into some very hard times over the past year. He watched as his sister, Cathy as her health deteriorated and she endured several surgeries. Todd spent many hours/months being there/supportive/helpful for his brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, and brothers while his sister was taking her last journey in this life. They were all completely devastated when Cathy passed away.

If that wasn’t difficult enough for Todd and his family, within a few months of losing his sister, Todd’s brother Carl passed away.

Uncle Todd was working on recuperating from such a life changing loss of two siblings, while trying to maintain in his life day to day living such has working, and then working some more. He was going through the motions of day-to-day life.

Unfortunately, Todd was making a ballistic, non-graceful exit from the shower one morning. Instead of sticking his pirouette, Todd fell HARD on his back. After many doctor visits, multiple in-depth tests, he was given the sad news of a spinal injury. For the rest of Todd's life, he will have to experience numbness, high degrees of pain and an overwhelming of weakness in his legs, his hips and lower back. These are a persistently consent changing degrees, from moment to moment and day to day. Thus, making Todd unable to return to his career that he has loved his whole adult life.

We are taking steps to get his financials in to order. We have gotten started on early retirement and we are working on the extremely slow process of qualifying for disability. All which will make a big difference and allow his housing and food. Once, they start.

I humbly ask that you help my Uncle Todd out. I know things are tough all over, but if you could spare something, every little bit will help him make ends meet until his funds start rolling in. Five, Ten or Twenty dollars. Whatever you can spare is greatly appreciated and will not be forgotten.
