It's been hard to watch our favorite bars struggle through the pandemic week after week.
Bars that anchored our neighborhoods, provided safe-spaces for LGBTQ+ and BIPOC, and were vital sources of employment and income for their communities are now closing their doors permanently.
When these spaces are vulnerable, so is the core identity of the community. That's why it’s so important to keep these local businesses alive and running during these uncertain times.
With PPP loans out of money and rent freezes almost impossible to lock-in, there is little relief coming from the state and federal level.
Simply put - we can change this. That’s why we started Uncertain Times to help our local bars in any way we could. If you love your local dive, fancy cocktail lounge, or rowdy sports bar — please consider donating to Uncertain Times.

All donations are put into a collection and then distributed equally among our beneficiaries list. Rent is any bar’s largest expense, but funds also go towards staff wages, restocking bar supplies, and generally keeping the lights on.
