My name is María Daniela Romero, and I am a proud single mother of two amazing children — Camila, my teenage daughter full of dreams, and Joel, my 3-year-old little boy full of joy and energy. At just 31 years old, I was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease, heart failure, and dilated cardiomyopathy. Doctors are currently performing evaluations to determine whether I will need a kidney or even a heart transplant. This has been one of the hardest battles of my life, but I hold on to faith, to the love of my children, and to the hope of getting better. My greatest desire is to live — to be here to care for and watch my children grow. However, the medical bills, medications, hospital visits, rent, utilities, and childcare for Joel have become too heavy to carry on my own. I have always worked hard to give my family stability, but my health has forced me to slow down. Today, with humility and hope, I am asking for your help. Your support will help cover:

Mi nombre es María Daniela Romero. Soy madre soltera de dos hermosos niños: Camila, mi adolescente llena de sueños, y Joel, mi pequeño de 3 años lleno de energía y ternura. A mis 31 años, me diagnosticaron enfermedad renal crónica,  junto con insuficiencia cardíaca y miocardiopatía dilatada. Los doctores me están realizando evaluaciones para determinar si necesitaré un trasplante de riñón o incluso de corazón. Es una batalla difícil y dolorosa, pero me aferro cada día a la fe, al amor de mis hijos y a la esperanza de salir adelante. Mi mayor deseo es seguir viviendo para cuidar y ver crecer an mis hijos. Sin embargo, los gastos médicos, hospitalizaciones, medicamentos, análisis, y al mismo tiempo la renta, los servicios y la guardería de Joel, se han convertido en una carga muy difícil de sostener. He trabajado duro toda mi vida para darles estabilidad, pero mi salud me ha obligado a detenerme. Hoy necesito pedir ayuda con humildad y esperanza.
