En Casa Anayté, un restaurante ubicado en el Centro Histórico de Quetzaltenango, creemos en ser un enlace vital: entre productores y consumidores conscientes, entre la frescura del campo y la mesa, y entre las personas.

Nuestro objetivo es servir comida hecha con amor, elaborada con ingredientes frescos y cultivados de manera amigable con el ambiente.

Hacer comunidad significa, especialmente en estas fechas navideñas, mirar la realidad de quienes nos rodean y ofrecer un gesto genuino de empatía.

Hace unos años, a través del proyecto "La Olla Comunitaria", aprendimos una lección poderosa: la comida no solo alimenta el cuerpo, sino que construye la dignidad de las personas.

Por eso, esta Navidad, queremos revivir ese espíritu.

Iniciamos esta recaudación económica con un propósito claro: repartir tamales navideños a quienes no cuentan con el privilegio de poder disfrutarlos.

Queremos recordarles, a través de un plato de comida caliente, que ellos también tienen derecho a la alegría de la Navidad, y que merecen ser celebrados y cuidados.

At Casa Anayté, a restaurant located in the Historic Center of Quetzaltenango, we believe in being a vital link: between producers and conscious consumers, between the table and the freshness of the fields, and between people themselves.

Our goal is to serve food made with love and prepared with fresh ingredients grown in an environmentally friendly way.

Building community means, especially during this Christmas season, recognizing the reality of those around us and offering a genuine gesture of empathy.

A few years ago, through the project “La Olla Comunitaria” (“The Community Pot”), we learned a powerful lesson: food not only nourishes the body, it also upholds people’s dignity.

That is why, this Christmas, we want to revive that spirit.

We are launching this fundraising effort with a clear purpose: to distribute Christmas tamales to those who do not have the privilege of enjoying them.

We want to remind them, through a plate of warm food, that they too have the right to the joy of Christmas, and that they deserve to be celebrated and cared for.
