Ciao siamo la FamigliaGriMat e visiteremo 100 paesi entro i 18 anni di nostra figlia. e se tra un paese e l'altro riusciamo a fare del bene, e insegnare il bene a nostra figlia, perchè no!!! Poco tempo fa, abbiamo avuto la gioia immensa di iniziare a sostenere concretamente i ragazzi della Corradini Catholic School di Utawala (Nairobi, Kenya). abbiamo iniziato , allestendo e finanziando interamente di tasca nostra una nuova sala computer connessa ad internet e che da Febbraio 2026 i bambini usano quotidianamente, ma non era abbastanza, così, successivamente abbiamo voluto fare un passo in più, raccogliendo più di 1.000 euro tra amici e parenti per acquistare e donare loro elettrodomestici necessari, come lavatrici o frigoriferi essenziali per la quotidianità e scorte di viveri.

È stata un'emozione indescrivibile vedere l'impatto reale di questi aiuti, ma vivendo la scuola da vicino ci siamo resi conto che le urgenze non sono finite. Questa volta, però, l'impresa è troppo grande per le nostre sole forze e per quelle di amici e parenti

Per questo oggi vi chiedo di unirvi a noi per realizzare un sogno concreto, misurabile e che cambierà radicalmente la quotidianità di centinaia di bambini e delle Holy Family Collegine Sisters che se ne prendono cura. Abbiamo già in mano i progetti, i contratti blindati e i fornitori pronti a partire. Ci mancano "solo" i fondi.

Ecco esattamente cosa faremo con le vostre donazioni:

⚽ Obiettivo 1: Un vero Campo da Calcio a 7

Oggi i bambini giocano nella polvere, in mezzo a sassi e fango e pozzanghere. Vogliamo costruire per loro un vero campo da calcio a 7 (40x20m) in erba sintetica professionale.

Abbiamo già negoziato e firmato un contratto a "prezzo fisso" con un fornitore leader in Kenya. Il progetto comprende:

Scavi e preparazione del terreno con sistema di drenaggio per evitare l'accumulo di acqua nella stagione delle pioggie

Posa dell'erba sintetica ammortizzata.

Recinzione completa di sicurezza e porte nuove.

Installazione di 12 fari solari per permettere ai ragazzi di fare sport in sicurezza anche dopo il tramonto.

Obiettivo 2: Una Cucina Sicura, Pulita e a Gas

Attualmente, le suore preparano centinaia di pasti ogni giorno utilizzando vecchi fornelli a legna. Il risultato? Muri neri di fuliggine e fumo tossico respirato quotidianamente.

Useremo parte dei fondi per un rinnovamento totale:

Eliminazione della legna: Acquisteremo nuove cucine industriali alimentate a GAS.

Ristrutturazione igienica: Sostituiremo il tetto logoro e piastrelleremo i muri per garantire un ambiente di lavoro pulito, sano e dignitoso per chi nutre questi ragazzi ogni giorno.

La Nostra Promessa: Cosa succede ai fondi in avanzo?

Siamo stati rigorosissimi nella gestione dei calcoli e la somma esatta dei preventivi ufficiali si attesta sui 55000/56.000 euro. Abbiamo tuttavia deciso di fissare l'obiettivo della raccolta a 60.000 euro per garantirci un fondo di sicurezza contro eventuali spese impreviste durante i lavori. Se, come speriamo, il cantiere procederà senza intoppi e riusciremo a rimanere nei costi preventivati, abbiamo una regola d'oro: ogni singolo euro di questo disavanzo verrà utilizzato esclusivamente per pagare le rette scolastiche dei bambini più bisognosi della comunità, fino a totale esaurimento. Nessuno spreco, solo educazione e futuro. E ci tengo a sottolineare che nessun euro andrà speso per qualcosa che non è raccontato qui..

Trasparenza Totale e Garanzia Finanziaria

So bene quanto sia importante sapere dove finiscono i propri soldi.

Gestione Diretta: I fondi raccolti saranno gestiti esclusivamente da noi che pagheremo le aziende direttamente con pagamenti tracciati e seri.

Nessun intermediario: I pagamenti ai fornitori avverranno solo tramite canali tracciabili (bonifici/carte) e saranno vincolati all'avanzamento effettivo dei lavori, fase per fase.

Tutto documentato: Pubblicheremo regolarmente su questa pagina e sui nostri canali social (famigliaGriMat) i preventivi ufficiali, i contratti firmati e le ricevute di pagamento, oltre a foto e video dal cantiere. Non si muoverà una foglia senza che voi lo sappiate.

Se riusciamo a chiudere la raccolta fondi entro la fine dell'estate, i lavori civili inizieranno a ottobre. Il nostro obiettivo è volare in Kenya il prossimo febbraio, a lavori ultimati, per tagliare il nastro, inaugurare il campo insieme ai bambini, mangiare un buon piatto cucinato nella nuova cucina e documentare con i nostri occhi la realizzazione del progetto.

AGGIORNAMENTO IMPORTANTE SULLA NOSTRA MISSIONE IN KENYA

Quando siamo partiti con questa avventura alla Corradini Catholic School di Utawala, abbiamo puntato alle stelle: 60.000€ per un campo da calcio in erba sintetica completo e una cucina industriale nuova.

Oggi, guardando in faccia la realtà, la nostra raccolta fondi si sta assestando verso un traguardo di 15.000€.

È un fallimento? ASSOLUTAMENTE NO. È un miracolo. ❤️

Con 15.000 euro in Kenya si possono fare cose straordinarie, e da buoni amministratori abbiamo deciso di rimodulare il progetto per portare un aiuto immediato, concreto e vitale ai bambini e alle suore, senza sprecare un solo centesimo.

Ecco come investiremo le vostre donazioni con la massima trasparenza:

PRIORITÀ ALLA SALUTE (La Cucina): Stiamo facendo partire oggi stesso i lavori! Inizieremo rifacendo completamente il tetto (le lamiere e la struttura in acciaio), abbiamo già inviato 1012 euro.. il primo preventivo che ci era stato fatto sulla realizzazione del tetto era di 1350 euro circa.. siamo riusciti a chiedere uno sconto sul lavoro... passeremo poi bonificare gli interni con nuova vernice e nuove piastrelle ed infine passeremo a installare la cucina a gas. Basta fumo tossico nei polmoni delle suore e di chi cucina ogni giorno per centinaia di bambini.

⚽️ IL CAMPO DA CALCIO (Fase 1): Non abbandoniamo il sogno! Con il budget rimanente (circa 7/8.000€) finanzieremo tutti i lavori civili essenziali. Faremo gli scavi, livelleremo il terreno, installeremo i drenaggi per dire addio per sempre al fango e alle pozzanghere, e piazzeremo le porte con le reti. I bambini avranno subito un campo in terra sicuro e dignitoso per iniziare a giocare immediatamente.

Questa è solo la Fase 1. Le fondamenta del campo saranno pronte, e in futuro, trovando nuovi sponsor, torneremo per posare l'erba sintetica.

Le suore ci manderanno i video di ogni singolo mattone posato e pubblicheremo tutte le ricevute dei lavori. Vogliamo che vediate con i vostri occhi cosa state costruendo.

Hi, we are the FamigliaGriMat, and we are on a mission to visit 100 countries before our daughter turns 18. And if, between one country and another, we can do some good and teach our daughter the value of giving back, why not!!!

A short while ago, we had the immense joy of starting to actively support the kids at the Corradini Catholic School in Utawala (Nairobi, Kenya). We began by setting up and fully funding from our own pockets a new computer room connected to the internet, which the children have been using daily since February 2026. But it wasn't enough, so we subsequently decided to take it a step further, raising over 1,000 euros among friends and family to buy and donate necessary appliances, such as washing machines and refrigerators essential for their daily lives, as well as food supplies.

It was an indescribable feeling to see the real impact of this help, but experiencing the school up close made us realize that the urgent needs are not over. This time, however, the undertaking is too big for just our efforts and those of our friends and family.

That is why today we ask you to join us in making a concrete, measurable dream come true—one that will radically change the daily lives of hundreds of children and the Holy Family Collegine Sisters who care for them. We already have the projects in hand, ironclad contracts, and suppliers ready to start. We are "only" missing the funds.

Here is exactly what we will do with your donations:

⚽ Goal 1: A Real 7-a-Side Soccer Pitch

Today, the children play in the dust, amidst stones, mud, and puddles. We want to build them a real 7-a-side soccer pitch (40x20m) using professional synthetic turf.

We have already negotiated and signed a "fixed-price" contract with a leading supplier in Kenya. The project includes:

Excavation and ground preparation with a drainage system to prevent water accumulation during the rainy season.

Installation of shock-absorbing synthetic turf.

Complete safety fencing and new goalposts.

Installation of 12 solar floodlights to allow the kids to play sports safely even after sunset.

Goal 2: A Safe, Clean, and Gas-Powered Kitchen

Currently, the sisters prepare hundreds of meals every day using old firewood stoves. The result? Black soot-covered walls and toxic smoke breathed in daily.

We will use part of the funds for a complete renovation:

Elimination of firewood: We will purchase new industrial GAS-powered cookers.

Hygienic renovation: We will replace the worn-out roof and tile the walls to ensure a clean, healthy, and dignified working environment for those who feed these kids every day.

Our Promise: What happens to any leftover funds?

We have been extremely rigorous in our calculations, and the exact total of the official quotes is around 55,000/56,000 euros. However, we have decided to set the fundraising goal at 60,000 euros to ensure a safety net against any unexpected expenses during the works. If, as we hope, the construction proceeds smoothly and we manage to stay within the estimated costs, we have a golden rule: every single euro of this surplus will be used exclusively to pay the school fees for the most underprivileged children in the community, until completely depleted. No waste, only education and future. And we want to emphasize that not a single euro will be spent on anything that isn't described here.

Total Transparency and Financial Guarantee

We know very well how important it is to know where your money goes.

Direct Management: The collected funds will be managed exclusively by us, and we will pay the companies directly with secure, traceable payments.

No Intermediaries: Payments to suppliers will only occur through traceable channels (bank transfers/cards) and will be tied to the actual progress of the work, phase by phase.

Fully Documented: We will regularly publish the official quotes, signed contracts, and payment receipts on this page and on our social media channels (famigliaGriMat), along with photos and videos from the site. Nothing will happen without your knowledge.

️ The Roadmap

If we manage to close the fundraising by the end of the summer, civil works will start in October. Our goal is to fly to Kenya next February, once the works are completed, to cut the ribbon, inaugurate the pitch with the children, eat a good meal cooked in the new kitchen, and document the realization of the project with our own eyes.

Update 08/05/2026: IMPORTANT UPDATE ON OUR MISSION IN KENYA

When we started this adventure at the Corradini Catholic School in Utawala, we aimed for the stars: €60,000 for a complete synthetic turf football pitch and a new industrial kitchen.

Today, facing reality, our fundraising is settling towards a goal of €15,000.

Is this a failure? ABSOLUTELY NOT. It is a miracle. ❤️

With 15,000 euros in Kenya, extraordinary things can be done, and like good administrators, we have decided to reshape the project to bring immediate, concrete, and vital help to the children and the sisters, without wasting a single cent.

Here is how we will invest your donations with maximum transparency:

HEALTH FIRST (The Kitchen): We are starting the works today! We will begin by completely redoing the roof (the metal sheets and the steel structure). We have already sent 1,012 euros... the first quote we received for the roof construction was around 1,350 euros, but we managed to ask for a discount on the work. We will then move on to sanitizing the interiors with new paint and new tiles, and finally, we will install the gas kitchen. No more toxic smoke in the lungs of the sisters and those who cook every day for hundreds of children.

⚽️ THE FOOTBALL PITCH (Phase 1): We are not abandoning the dream! With the remaining budget (around €7,000/8,000) we will finance all the essential civil works. We will do the excavations, level the ground, install the drainage to say goodbye forever to mud and puddles, and set up the goalposts with nets. The children will immediately have a safe and dignified dirt pitch to start playing right away.

This is only Phase 1. The foundations of the pitch will be ready, and in the future, by finding new sponsors, we will return to lay the synthetic turf.

The sisters will send us videos of every single brick laid, and we will publish all the receipts for the works. We want you to see with your own eyes what you are building.
