70km ultra-marathon in aid of Young Lives vs Cancer
Raising money for a fantastic charity that has helped, and continues to help, so many young people through their hardest times - Not to mention one of my closest friends who through his journey and endless positivity has helped inspire so many of us to go and live life to the full.
The challenge is called ‘home to home’ and will involve me running 70km (give or take, depending on how accurate my navigation skills will be) from my current house in Balham, back to my family home in Farnham. The journey will mostly be on trials once out of London, involving going up and over the North Downs Way.
The run will take place on Sunday August 4th and the total distance will be around 1.6 marathons, with the aim to complete the run in under 8 hours. This is a completely solo challenge, but hopefully a few people will join me for shorter stints throughout the day - Max is hoping to join for the final 5!
Any donations would be greatly supported and I can’t wait to give back to such an incredible charity that helps so many.
