Ultrabalaton 2025

Hi, Mervyn Graham and I will be competing in Ultrabalaton 2025 In Budapest Hungary on the 26/04/25, which we will be part of the of the ZOOSH Digital International team competing in the 210km Ultra Marathon.

We will be competing on behalf Killoe Celtic FC , where we both Coach our U13 team , with Zoosh Digital who are our team sponsor. As most of you will know, running is not something that I consider a favourite past time, this challenge came out of a general conversation , one I probably wish didn't happen ( only kidding ) but one that we have both taken on the challenge to do , and no better way to raise money for greater causes , than seeing Mervyn and myself suffer, while we help the local community in trying to raise as much for 3 very good causes along the way.

We will be splitting all money raised into 3 equal amounts , Killoe Celtic will receive funds to help provide our club with important equipment to help the growth of our young players as they begin their grass roots football journey.

St Christophers Special school in Longford , will receive a donation to help provide equipment and supports for children with their learning needs, this service is of huge importance in Longford, the funds will be used in helping buy new equipment to assist the departments with new ways and ideas in teaching people with special needs.

We will also be raising money for Alzheimer's Ireland , this is a great support in the local community , that provides families with supports and day services for people who suffer with the debilitating condition, this service is very close to my own heart , which benefited my own family recently , they provided home care support for my Mother who has recently passed away, so this cause has a special connection.
