Dave’s brain injury changed our lives overnight, bringing challenges we never expected and moments that tested us as a family. Through the setbacks, uncertainty and long road of recovery, Headway North Staffs have been an incredible source of support for Dave, my mum and me. They have helped Dave regain confidence, independence and purpose, and have supported us all emotionally through one of the hardest times of our lives. Their work truly changes lives, and we’ve seen first-hand the difference they make. On 4th July I’ll be taking on a 50km trail ultra marathon in the Peak District to raise money for this amazing charity so they can continue helping people and families like ours.
