Ulster Ghost Bike and Traffic Safety Fund

Please See Updates as well Thank you! My name is Rose. I am a transportation equity activist. I started placing Ghost bikes in 2019 in Ulster county to pay tribute those killed while riding the roads of Ulster. When I started it never occurred to me that I would need to raise money to continue because our numbers were low. Since starting unfortunately in 2019 I have placed 6 bikes. One of them belonging to my partner John Host Lynch who was struck and killed by a driver on Washington Ave on July 20 2021. He was 57 and in the prime of his life and he was run over in Kingston while riding with friends, who are also devastated by the trauma of witnessing first hand the cold cruelty of traffic violence. Won’t you help us continue this mission of paying tribute to loved ones and raising awareness.? There is no excuse for this carnage. We know how to fix it. Help us continue raising awareness and letting out community members who are living with the after effects of traffic violence that WE DO CARE. Trust me when I say, this matters so much. So often survivors are left felling no one cared about there lost one’s. Let families, friends and local leaders know we will never forget and we will never stop saying this should NEVER have happened. Much love to you all. Travel with safety
