Help Local Kids Access Basic Hygiene Essentials This Winter
I'll be honest - I never thought I'd be writing something like this.
My auntie is a safeguarding officer at a primary school in London. Just after Christmas, she reached out to our family group chat about something that's been weighing heavily on her: children in her school are experiencing hygiene poverty. We're talking about kids who don't have access to basic necessities - toothbrushes, soap, shampoo, deodorant.
It's a horrible thought. These are children who should be focusing on learning and playing, not worrying about whether they can stay clean.
So I'm reaching out to see if we can come together and do something small but meaningful. I'm trying to raise £100 to buy basic hygiene essentials that my auntie can distribute directly to the families who need them most.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will go directly towards purchasing these necessities. If you can spare a few pounds, these kids will feel the difference.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and for any support you can offer.
