This young family was forced to leave war-torn Ukraine.

The father is a sailor and out of the country, at sea. The mother fled with her two children, able to pack only one suitcase. Alone and afraid, they held each other closely as the nightly air raids continued.

They were first forced from Kiev to the countryside. They followed others from Ukraine to Moldova, to Romania, eventually arriving in Germany.

We are sponsoring the family by providing them safety and shelter in our home. They want to work while awaiting to return to their country. Mom is a cosmetologist who will need to pay fees for testing and licensing. The children will attend schools but will need uniforms. Transportation will be needed to travel to work and school. Health insurance will also be needed for the children especially.
