I am Mohammed, a sixth-year medical student from Jabalia, where war turns everything to ashes—where genocide, displacement, and hunger are part of daily life. We were forced to flee from northern Gaza, leaving behind my grandfather, my grandmother, and many relatives and friends who perished in the destruction. And when we returned, we didn’t come back to homes, but to emptiness—no house, no shelter, just ruins and memories.

Now, we live among the rubble, with no electricity, no water, and food has become a luxury we cannot afford. Everything is difficult—nearly impossible. We don’t even have a tent to shelter us. Even my dream of becoming a doctor now feels out of reach, as universities and hospitals have been destroyed, and the future seems to fade away with each passing day.

Yet, despite everything, hope still lingers in my heart. I created this link not because I believe in miracles, but because I believe that kindness still exists—and that even the smallest contribution can make a huge difference in the lives of those who have lost everything.
