Hello, my name is Megan

I will be traveling to Uganda in July 2026 alongside fellow student teachers and nurses from ATU, St Angela’s, Sligo.

Our work will include general health checks, vision assessments and eyeglass distribution. Working in schools, including schools for kids with disabilities. We also work with Women in the community to develop empowerment through textiles, business and crafting.

We are aligned to trusted NGO, Bright Kids Uganda. Without the support and guidance of Dr Victoria Nalongo Namusisi this trip would not be possible.

All donations go directly to the organization and helps to support local communities we visit.

No funds will be used in the purchasing or booking of this trip.

Any and all donations are greatly appreciated and will make such a difference for the forgotten children of Uganda.
