Hi, my name is Kate Sengupta. I am a transition year student in St. Andrews College in Booterstown and I am raising money for the Uganda project 2026. My school has been going to Uganda each year to give aid to Kisiizi Hospital and Rubiriizi School for the last two decades. To raise money I have decided to run 62km over 2 weeks. The 62km figure is linked to the distance from Ireland to Uganda being 6200kms so I am running 1km for every 100km to Uganda. I set this goal as I believe it is challenging realistic and achievable. On top of that I will also be doing 6200 keepyuppies with a football, to challenge myself even more. This is also connected to Uganda because football is the national sport there and I know that young kids in Uganda love to spend time playing football with each other. If I am lucky enough to be chosen to go on the school trip I look forward to learning some more football tricks from them! I would really appreciate your support for this wonderful cause and any donations would be gratefully received. 100% of funds raised will go to the Rubiriizi School in Uganda. Wish me luck over the next 2 weeks with my challenge and thank you in advance!
