Support for Rural Ugandan Community during COVID

Hi Friends, Family, & Community :)

Please consider donating to our fundraiser to support families in rural Uganda! $20CAD will provide one family with a box of basic necessities - rice, beans, and flour.

Lake Bunyonyi is a rural community in South East Uganda. The community relies mainly on tourism for income which has been severely reduced due to COVID19 travel restrictions. Food security was already an issue and now due to loss of jobs and reduced incomes many families cannot afford food.

Supporting our friends in Uganda is extremely important to us as we all had the privilege of completing a VIDEA internship in Lake Bunyonyi for 6 months. During this time Faye, Elyce, Nicole & Rachel were welcomed and treated like family. We now have the opportunity to provide relief to vulnerable families and we need your support to make this possible :) 




As mentioned, the cost to supply a care package for a family is about $20CAD - but any amount will be greatly appreciated! A little bit goes a long way <3
