Evacuation Appeal: Help Maysa and Her 5 Children Escape the War in Gaza

My name is Maysa Al-Dahdouh, I am 33 years old, a wife and a mother of five children — three boys and two girls. We once lived a simple, peaceful life in our beautiful home in Gaza, surrounded by the warmth of family and love.

But everything changed on October 7, 2023.

When the war began, our world was turned upside down. Our home was completely destroyed by airstrikes, and we were forced to flee with nothing but the clothes on our backs. We’ve been displaced ever since, searching for safety, shelter, and food — basic things no human being should live without.

Since that day, we’ve been trapped in unimaginable conditions:

We live in a torn tent, exposed to the cold, heat, and danger.

Hunger is constant. My children go to bed crying from starvation.

Diseases are spreading, and medicine is almost impossible to find.

I suffer from a heart condition, and my health is deteriorating rapidly.

Bombs fall constantly. We have lost loved ones, neighbors are injured, and we live every day wondering if it will be our last.

Today, I am crying out to the world:

Please, help us… we just want to live.
