Just about all of us have attended a school in which a teacher/administrator/coach/professor has loved you unconditionally and given you insight, direction, as well as guidance through difficult circumstances. Noemi Preciado better known as Ms. P was a reflection of the term unconditional love at Horizon High School also known as Horizon Christian Academy in San Diego. The former Spanish teacher spent many hours mentoring, creating mission trips, traveling with her students, clothing and feeding less fortunate students/families with her own money from an underpaid job. Now that Ms. P is not teaching she continues to disciple and give to former students despite many trials in her life. After 20 years of teaching at Horizon, the school abruptly closed breaking her heart. Ms. P reminds many everyday "that was your family, our family, My FAMILY!!" Since, she has taken on a job helping out a family member but has lost the zest to teach because no place compares to her lost family at Horizon. Ms. P cares for her aging parents, baby sits for alumni, and continues to tutor former students in college out of love. Many of you know all statements above are truth but can't cover the heart and character this former teacher has for any that has been blessed to meet her. In creating this gofundme page I reflect on the nonsense of celebrities getting donations wanting to become billionaires SMH. I'm asking you to give a love offering to an Educator, a Mentor, and a woman who has sacrifice so much of her effort, time, and finances so that students can focus as well as succeed in achieving their dreams. Living paycheck to paycheck due to ministry is expected but now its time for all to say thank you to a life changer to many.
