“From Gaza to a tent… I’m a widowed mother fighting to give my three children hope for a better future.”
My name is Eman. I am 35 years old and the proud mother of three amazing children — Menna (14), Moaz (10), and Fatima (8).
A few years ago, my life changed forever. My husband left our home to go to the war… and he never came back. I don’t know if he is still alive or gone forever. Every day, I live with the pain of not knowing, but I have to stay strong for my children.
We are a family from Gaza. After losing our home, we now live in a tent, facing the cold, heat, and constant uncertainty. Life in the camp is harsh — there is little food, no privacy, and no comfort for the children.
Since my husband’s disappearance, I have been the only one responsible for everything — finding food, keeping my children safe, and trying to keep them in school despite the impossible conditions. It is a heavy burden to carry, but I do it with love because they are my whole world.
Some days I don’t know how I will feed my children or keep them warm at night. They dream of becoming doctors, teachers, and engineers, but without support, I fear they may never have the chance to reach those dreams.
I am asking for your help — not for myself, but for them. Your kindness can give us food, clothing, school supplies, and a safe place to live. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading our story. Thank you for caring. And thank you for helping me give my children the future they deserve.
