Let's help UEO Build a Cultural Center In Houston
Want to join us in making a difference? We are raising money to benefit United Esan Organization Inc, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us.
United Esan Organization, Houston was founded in 1979 in Houston, Texas, to preserve and promote Esan culture, heritage, unity, harmony, and provide a platform to empower, educate and unite its members economically. Over the years, the association has evolved into providing community services to the Esan community in Nigeria and the diaspora, and it will continue to dedicate its resources towards promoting and strengthening Esan people's overall well-being and values through its programs and services to individuals, groups, and families.
Over the years, the UEO, as it is fondly called, has completed or continue to execute the following projects;
- Provided scholarships to needy University level students in Nigeria
- Engaged in food distribution at the Houston food bank
- Provided scholarships to graduating Esan students in Houston, Texas
- Donated school furniture to a Secondary School in Edo State
- Recently built toilets for a school in Edo state
- distributed food items to some indigent indigenes in Edo State.
- recently distributed Personal Protective equipment to help minimize the spread of COVID-19 in the Houston area
To help us continue with these charitable activities, we are building an Esan cultural center in Houston, Texas, which will provide the organization with more space to host its meetings and organize other charity events. It will also serve as an Esan museum in Houston to teach visitors the rich Esan cultural heritage.
As a charity organization that relies on donations to complete its numerous projects, we host multiple fund-raising activities in rented halls and event centers. The proposed Esan House will help us save funds that we typically pay to rent event centers.
Our objective is to raise $300,000 through this medium by the end of Dec 2021, so we solicit financial assistance from you to complete this Esan House project. Please donate here in this medium, via zelle or visit our website at www.unitedesanorganizationhouston.org. Should you have a question, you can contact the association's president at [phone redacted] or the chairman of the fund-raising committee, Dr. Henry Ohen, at [phone redacted]
