Support a Family Displaced by Fire

On Monday, January 13th at 10:57pm in Marbella Bay of Waterstone, the townhome attached to ours caught fire. The fire quickly began to spread onto our townhome. Due to the fire, smoke, and water damage, we were forced to leave our home with our two young children, 6 and 3 years old. We are not sure when or if we will be allowed to return, as we rent and do not own our home.

During all the mayhem, our beloved cat Pumpkin managed to escape after she was rescued from the fire. She is still missing despite our efforts searching for her daily. Our other cat, Sushi, suffered major smoke inhalation. X-rays showed she has inflamed lungs and airways and was extremely dehydrated. The bill to get all the medications she needs to begin her road to recovery was costly.

My family is asking for help from the community to help with the cost of unexpected vet bills, housing, new clothes, and daily living costs. As we try to navigate through this tragedy, we are grateful and thankful for our community and any help we receive.
