Howdy everyone!

My name is Ian and I'm launching this GoFundMe campaign to support World Central Kitchen, and 100% of your donations will go directly to them. World Central Kitchen is an extraordinary organization founded to help combat food insecurity across the globe. WCK is a beacon of hope, providing fresh meals in the wake of disasters. I chose WCK because they manage to use a whopping 90+% of their donations for their projects and have fantastic ratings for their transparency in how funds are used. They respond swiftly to crises, ensuring that those in need receive not just food, but also comfort and dignity during challenging times. These are people who literally put their lives on the line to care for others. Your donations will help WCK continue their vital work, quickly mobilizing to set up kitchens in disaster-stricken areas, ensuring fresh meals reach those who need them most.

I'll be cycling westbound across Vermont starting tomorrow morning, 10/19 across the entirety of the Lamoille Valley rail trail in a single go. One. Hundred. Miles. Ouch! Compared to the plight of a hungry child though, my choice to suffer is nothing but a sick joke. In honor of that, I'll be doing the whole thing in my ridiculous cow outfit (weather permitting). So please, if my journey makes you stop and think for a moment about those less fortunate, I hope you consider dropping a few bucks to this cause. 1$ buys an average of 3 meals and ALL proceeds go to charity.

I'd also like to give a shoutout to my clients, Mark, Meg and Matt without whom i would not have thought to ask for all of your help fighting against food insecurity, my mother, Karina, whose assistance in this endeavor has been indispensable and of course my little brothers Rocky and Noah whose embarrassment helped me choose the theme/outfit.

UPDATE: WE DID IT! Miles and donations dusted! Thank you all so much!! We'll be leaving the donations up through the weekend. Please consider sharing this...

Thank you all again for your generosity,

Ian
