My mom tragically lost her home in a devastating fire in Baton Rouge. You can read the full story here:
At 74 years old, my mom has lost everything — her home, her belongings, her car, and even her grandson’s car. The fire was a total loss, leaving her, my nephew, and her beloved dog Ben suddenly displaced and without the security of a place to call home.
We’re trying to raise funds to help her get into a rental home where she can have a space of her own — a safe, stable place for her, her grandson, and little Ben to heal and start rebuilding. Every donation, big or small, will go directly toward helping her with a rental, deposits, clothing, transportation, and other basic necessities.
