UCSF Supply Chain Management Children's Hospital Fundraiser

Hello SCMers.

We are excited to gather funds in support of patients and families at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals (BCH). Instead of just donating money, this year we are going to use our donations to make BCH care kits. That's right—we're getting hands-on!

BCH has requested donations of small "activity" and "comfort" kits for children and their families at BCHO during the holiday season (see Care Kits Program). The specific items in these kits are based on staff observation of patient needs for comfort, distraction, and recreation. Every penny we raise here will go toward purchasing the kit items. Then, during our year end celebration at Dominic's on December 11, we will be taking a minute to assemble and prepare the kits for delivery.

We are the first department at UCSF to undertake a fundraiser of this kind, we hope our effort inspires more involvement across campus. Please help us make a big impact on the kids at BCH and show everyone how much SCM cares about our community.

You have until the end of day, Wednesday, December 4 to make your donation. Last year we raised $825 dollars for the BCH kids, can we do better in 2024?? Let's give it a shot!
