We’re reaching out to ask for a little help for someone very important to us — our dad, Joe Schwertner. He was recently diagnosed with stage 4 adenocarcinoma. It has metastasized to his bones and lymphnodes. It’s been a lot for our family to process, but he’s staying strong and focused on getting the care he needs.

Once he meets his insurance deductible, his insurance should cover most of his treatment. However, the amount to reach his deductible is still significant — $8,000 — and that’s more than he can manage on his own right now.

We’ve started this fundraiser to help cover that cost so he can move forward with treatment without the added stress of financial worry. If you’re able to donate, we would be incredibly grateful. And even if you can’t, prayers and sharing this fundraiser would mean a lot.
