Hi, we are the Wardley Wombles Litter Busters and have been litter picking in Wardley and the surrounding areas since March 2021.

We have also created six gardens along the Bowes Railway Footpath starting at Lingey Lane down the footpath to the bottom at Sunderland Road.

We also hold events throughout the year starting with the Easter Parade, Wardley Wombles Coffee Morning in aid of local Charities, Halloween and Remembrance Sunday.

If you would like to help us continue with our work all donations will be used for the upkeep of the gardens and the annual events.
